This
Ultra ATA/133 IDE controller card with RAID is designed
to offer a high performance, cost effective and reliable
solution to the system upgrader. This card provides two
IDE connectors that support ultra ATA/133 protocols. Each
IDE connector can support a master/slave combination of
any devices, including Ultra ATA/133, Ultra ATA/100, Ultra
ATA/66, Ultra/33, EIDE/Fast ATA-2, IDE and ATAPI standards.
A RAID array is a collection of drives that collectively
act as a single storage system, which can tolerate the failure
of a drive without losing data and can operate independently
of each other. This allows the necessary customization for
different types of applications and the ease of implementation.
